Content in Our Website
Content is the king, many people dealing with website usually say that words because it is the core of website. Content is the thing that keeps people coming back to a blog to read the information and opinion of the writer or blogger. Somehow I don’t quite agree with this statement. I do have faith that it is the content who turns a visitor into a loyal reader, but in the first impression the design of your blog does have a very important role. People often over value content above their blog designs, so the result is there are still many blogs that don’t concern about the usage of their fonts. I have found quite a lot blogs that the font of the main content is too small to read clearly.
Even though I can enlarge the font size by simply scrolling my mouse wheel while pressing the ctrl button in Firefox, I don’t want to bother myself by doing that. I simply closed the window. Another common mistake that is done by bloggers is they put too much ads with positions
that some of which distract the users from the reading. These enormous number and chaos placement of ads make the content less readable and reduce the speed loading of a blog to a significant degree.
A design doesn’t mean or intended only for proposing the beauty of an object. This is something that many people don’t aware of. A blog design must also be able to deliver the personality of the blog itself like is it a technology, personal, or something else? On the other hand, a blog design has to be able to show the personality of the owner, strengthen the style of the writing, has to be made with the loading speed in mind, attract the readers to the most important area in the blog, has an easy to browse navigation, and so on.
